We are going to a friend's art show tonight and we're pretty excited. 

She is so talented and does amazing work.

Then tomorrow is our day off, finally! I'm hoping to get some projects done around the house, and also try score a nap. I love weekend naps, just because I can.

Sky High

I have grown to love all the sky high wedges, heels and clogs that are all over in style right now.

I'm currently looking for a pair of sandal wedges. I love the super tall ones, but realistically, 

I wouldn't pick to wear those everyday. I'm trying to find a good balance of style and height. 

I'm more of a 2" heel kinda gal. Especially since I'm already tall...

Just take a look at some of these...

I swear, if I had an endless budget, I would buy shoes just because I liked them...

even if I didn't wear them all the time.

Shoes are such a fun accessory.

The Hunger Games

So...who's going to see The Hunger Games this weekend?

We! We! We are!

We're going with some friends on sunday. I'm really looking forward to it. 

It was a fun little book series to read, and I'm hoping the movies will be enjoyable as well.

I am most excited to see the styling of the film.

My imagination ran wild at the descriptions of Capitol couture dress, makeup and hair.

By the looks of these photos, it will be brilliant.

Look at Alice + Olivia's darling spring/summer collection.

Introducing {What I Wore Wednesday}

Well I'm very excited to start {What I Wore Wednesday} with you all,
a weekly outfit post.

The skirt I made over the weekend is this week's feature. It was quite blustery that day, which was bad for the hair, but fun for the skirt. I love the movement.

I'm hoping to include things I've made/make, as well as just outfits I put together.
I have a passion for clothes and styling. I thought this would be a good outlet for me, as well as
addition to the blog.

I think this was the best birthday yet. 23 feels pretty good on me so far.

The sweetest husband {ever!} surprised me with the leather jacket

I've been wanting. I was so surprised and excited.  It fits like a glove, and I still don't want to take it off. I got to wear it to my birthday dinner, and I felt like a rockstar.

 My birthday was all in all, wonderful and delicious.
