Fashion Inspo: Black + White

Hi guys,

Hope you all had a good weekend! Ours consisted mostly of working, working working, but we got a little down time yesterday which was much needed. We got caught in a torrential downpour yesterday on our frozen yogurt date. Seriously, it was monsoon style rain. From the short time it took us to run from the store to our car, we were drenched. It was kinda fun actually. I love summer thunderstorms. I have also been trying all sorts of new recipes lately. I go through spurts of cooking inspiration and boredom. Lately, I've felt adventurous. I made a fruit tart for the first time this weekend, and it was delicious. Blackberry and peach, my new favorite combo. Let me just say, we were big fans...

Anyways, here's some Monday fashion inspiration for you.

While I'm a huge fan of color, print and texture, there is something so romantic about classic black looks.

Birds Eye View

Well, husband got back from NYC late last night, and I'm glad we get to spend the weekend together. Our little baby pup is growing like a weed, or at least his ears are growing... hehehe. He's our little dumbo dog right now, and oh so adorable!

Check out these 'Birds Eye View' room portraits by Menno Aden. He attaches cameras to the ceilings of apartments, stores, and offices, catching rarely seen views of interior spaces. I think it's such a clever idea, and so interesting to look at.

We finally have a little break from our triple digit weather PTL! It's been in the 70s so far this week, and looks like it's supposed to stay there, with lots of summer thunderstorms. The humidity took a hike upwards though...93% today. Bleegh...not so fond of that. In other news, the husband is off to NYC today and tomorrow for work, so I hit the gym early this morning to jump start my day. Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by!
