California: LA

August was vacation/travel month, and boy did it feel like we went everywhere! From NC, to CA, to WA, back to NC, then to VaBeach, all in 3 weeks time!
It was wonderful to be out of our little house, and our little city for a while.

There were many CA trip highlights, seeing as this was only my 2nd time being there.
Seeing wonderful friends!
the Hollywood sign
 Food Trucks
Paper Tongues Show
Laguna Beach
Ferry Ride
The Beach House: Brunch oceanside
Intelligentsia
In-n-Out

This was my very first time to LA. It was gorgeous weather. . . I mean seriously, it's totally not fair that they get weather like that all the time. It made me want to move there. It was ideal eating outside weather, which is my favorite type.
We had lunch at this yummy little restaurant and did just that. Eat. Out. Side! For 2 whole hours, just sitting, talking, eating & drinking. It was perfect.

Isn't he the cutest?!
The Beach House
 oceanside brunch. . . amazing!
YUM!
crab cakes benedict, with purple potato and veggie hash
some sort of yummy omelet, I don't remember what was in it:)
Our sweet friends Dan and Amber let us come stay with them for a few days.
We had the best time...and are already planning for next year.

old friends...
First time...I was excited!
and yes, it was as good as everyone always says.
We went to the cutest little crepe place before leaving town.
The illustrations on the walls were just darling. I think they would look
cute in a kids room.
banana nutella with cream, my favorite!
We tried to see the entire of LA in just 1 day. Most of our time was spent driving, and on a Friday! I have one word for you...TRAFFIC! It's simply craziness. Now I knowthis, but we still had the best time.

Up next,
Spokane, family, the lake...

Thanks for stopping by,
Bonte
