So, I've pretty much been an OPI girl when it comes to polish, but Essie just has some darling colors, so I had to give it a try.
We'll see if I'm converted.

Here's my new picks.
I love pretty much any shade of orange, from rust to peach.

Pretty Edgy.
I haven't worn green polish in ages, but there was something so charming about this one. I've been loving it!

Well, Happy Weekend Folks. I have some fun posts planned for August! Check in Monday to find out more!

Yellow Suitcase

Oh  J. Crew, you've done it again! You've successfully made my wish list grow o-to-long.
How adorable is this Sour Lemon suitcase trunk?

I mean really, I've always wanted cute luggage for when I go-a-traveling. The kind that matches, and has all the right sizes for checked bags, carry-ons, etc. We are getting ready for our summer vacation trip next week. I'm very excited. I haven't flown anywhere since Christmas time, and I do miss it. I also haven't seen most of my family or been home since then also. It's off to the west coast for us, and let me just tell you, there's nothing like the west coast. It's calling my name! California, then up to Washington, then back to NC briefly before headed to Virginia Beach to see more family and the beach!
Thursday, you couldn't come soon enough!

Cynthia Rowley

Check out Cynthia Rowley's 2012 resort collection. I'm quite fond of all her dropped hemlines, yellow, and pantsuits.
Plus she has a fabulous website.  The video of all her floating people is just so fun.
Take a look here...

I want this last skirt. It's so beautiful, and flowy, and I think it'd be wonderful to wear.
That's all!

photo shoot

Our lovely friends from Capture Life Photography did a photo shoot with us earlier this year for one of Lee's school projects, and they were so wonderful!
Make sure and check them out here.

Hands UP

I like repurposing things.
Take these for example...
These hands were porcelain glove forms from an old factory!
The big giant hand was used to make chemical gloves, and the smaller one standard gloves. I thought they were so comical looking at first, but almost as soon as I said they were sorta weird, I ended up wanting one. That normally happens to me. I got two because I thought they looked better as a set.
They ended up being the perfect thing to hang my necklaces on. I love them!

Well I'm so glad it's Friday. I think we are going to see the final HP movie this weekend with some friends. That means we need to re-watch part one. Yay for things to look forward to!

If I had to choose a favorite time period for fashion, it's be a hard choice between the 20's and 60's.
I love so many things about both.

I love all things MOD.

(Over time, I've collected these photos from around the web, so I don't have their sources. Terrible I know! Sorry)

They have such pretty things.
I think these skirts would make me want to twirl!

what time is it?

This is a new obsession of mine that started, say, about a year ago. My husband and I both got each other watches our first married Christmas, without knowing it (sweet, right?). Well, I'm hooked now, and constantly looking at my wrist to see the time.
These are a few I've been eyeing...

Do you wear a watch? If so, have any favorites?

flora and henri

So, My two adorable nephews, Leon and Soli, have been staying at my house all week. They are just so cute and a joy to have around. We aren't used to having 'kid stuff' around, but it's been fun having them invade our life.
Here's a post for all you Mom's with kids!
This shop has the most adorable little people clothes I ever did see.
Take a peek.

so sweet, right?
