'Emoji'

I loved happening upon Antipodium's 2013 Resort collection while reading Oyster Magazine the other day. Here's the inspiration behind this line...

"Antipodium's new Resort collection is so 2013. It was partly inspired by a late-night text sesh in which the label's Creative Director, Geoffrey J. Finch, and Jamie Perlman, Creative Director at British Vogue, got a little finger-happy and went wild with the use of emojis (we've all been there). 

Continuing Antipodium's seasonal collaborations, Jamie created some exclusive emoji textiles for Resort — bows, roses, pistols and eyes are delicately embroidered onto peach organza for the 'Mixed Messages' textile, while the 'Double Digits' thumbs up/thumbs down print appears on a Tumblr-blue silk crepe de chine dress." fun, fun, fun, right? Well, we're off to Virginia today to visit my sister, brother-in-law and two cute nephews for the weekend. I'm looking forward to spending time with family. What are your plans?
