I finally got some christmas crafts done. I've had an ever growing DIY list for a while and finally got to check a few off over Thanksgiving weekend.
They turned out quite lovely.
The stacked paper tree is sold at Anthropologie,
but I found a Martha Stewart tutorial online. Here is the tutorial for the other paper tree.
The stacked tree was A LOT of work + A LOT of paper cutting (550 pieces of paper, to be exact. My hands were so sore), but well worth it in the end. The round tree is pretty quick and easy.

I finally made my holiday wreath for our front door, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. We have a really ugly front door (so I took these on an inside door), with a really ugly screen (double bad), so our door was very happy to have a holiday facelift.
I have a few more DIY projects I'm planning to do over the next few weeks, so I'll be sure to post pictures when I'm finished.

Now it's onto Christmas presents and shopping...

ReplyDeleteLove your glitters!!!
ReplyDeleteCute. I made the round tree the other day but I used a magazine and it was pretty time consuming. I'd be interested in how you did yours.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the cut-out, I think I'll have to try my hand at that.
